SUPERVISED SUITES
East Hall is designed for neurologically impaired clients who have not acquired the skills necessary for supported apartment living. The barrier-free suites allow clients to develop basic living skills while benefiting from the supervision and assistance found in more traditional settings. Rehabilitation associates are present 24 hours a day to provide supervision and to assist clients in an environment that fosters personalized living within a licensed setting.
Each accessible suite is furnished and fully equipped, and consists of a bathroom/shower, kitchen (with remote stove cut-off capability), dinette, bedroom, and living room. Eisenhower Center's cafeteria is a sidewalk away for those on special diets or unable to make their meals.
Moriah Hall is a fully accessible residential unit located on campus, ideal for clients who do not require continuous nursing care but have not acquired the skills necessary for supported apartment living. Its unique lodge style and barrier-free suites afford more space, privacy, and autonomy than traditional settings while each individual's needs for supervision, support, and assistance are met. As with all of our licensed-space programs, residents should not require isolation or restraints, and should be able to reside with other clients.
The suites are furnished and fully outfitted to address the clients' rehabilitation, safety, and daily living needs. Each suite is equipped with a roll-in shower/bathroom, modular kitchenette, dinette, bedroom, and living space. Moriah Hall also features a large and airy community room for group events, socialization, and relaxation.
As with all Eisenhower Center programs, the Moriah Hall and East Hall program coordinators offices are located adjacent to the residential area to ensure effective communication with clients, their families, and staff.
