SUBSTANCE ABUSE/TRANSITIONAL UNIT
The Congregate offers a unique coed residential space with shared living and dining areas, along with a separate, fully equipped women's suite. This space is particularly accommodating for clients who use no assistive devices for ambulation. The terraced garden provides both beauty and security.
The Congregate is equipped with a kitchen and laundry facilities for retraining in basic living skills and for maintaining those skills. The cafeteria is located within the same building as the Congregate program, which is convenient for those on special diets or who are unable to make their own meals. As with all Eisenhower Center's programs, the Congregate program coordinator's office is located adjacent to the living area to ensure effective communication with clients, their families, and staff.
