Ann Arbor, MI Opportunities

Housekeeper

We are looking for a Housekeeper. It is full time position. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning our facility and resident living areas including but not limited to: office areas, kitchens, floors, and windows. Day shift schedule. Applicants must: have a valid driver’s license, a clean criminal background, be able to do heavy lifting and moving, be punctual and positive as well as have an exceptional work ethic. Previous experience in housekeeping / cleaning necessary and experience in a medical setting is desirable. Marketing Development

Eisenhower Center is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to provide marketing services at our residential rehabilitation facility serving adults with acquired brain injury. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree. A strong marketing background is ideal and marketing degree is preferred. Candidate must demonstrate impeccable communication skill, organizational skills, and knowledge of graphic design ad advertisement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing the market for Eisenhower Center.
  • Focus on growing existing accounts and acquiring new clients.
  • Make sales presentations.
  • Generate and describe creative, results-focused marketing concepts to a diverse client base.
  • Assist with handling incoming inquiries
  • Book in-service appointments with external customers.
  • Walk door-to-door and solicit business.
  • Assess client’s promotional needs.
  • Evaluate demographics, prices, distribution channels, and marketing outlets.
  • Develop sales strategies in tandem with Admissions department

Support Employment Specialist

Eisenhower Center is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to provide supported employment services at our residential rehabilitation facility serving adults with acquired brain injury. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Strong communications skills is ideal. Candidates must have experience in Job Coaching.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing career development and training activities that support informed vocational decision-making.
  • Assist in developing realistic employment goals based on identified opportunities in the local job market.
  • Train clients in the development of work habits, interactions with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Provide a variety of work opportunities, work trials and work tasks to meet the needs of the clients.
  • Develop work sites and assist employers in understanding the effects of ABI on job performance.
  • Assess jobs sites for safety and suitability.
  • Document services and client progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Participate in staffing’s, team conferences and other clinical and staff meetings.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly progress reports and weekly program reports.
  • Responsible for client payroll: collecting daily time sheets, compiling payroll data and submitting it to operations for processing.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Eisenhower Center is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to provide behavioral services at our residential rehabilitation facility serving adults with acquired brain injury. Candidates must have a Master’s degree. A strong behavioral background is ideal and BCBA is required. Eisenhower Center is a leader in the field of brain injury rehabilitation and offers an outstanding professional environment with an excellent benefits package.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field evaluations, initial and discharge evaluations, and develop risk protocols
  • Develop treatment plans and provide services congruent with outcome goals and with the general rehabilitation plan
  • Maintain associate level certification as a Crisis Prevention Institute instructor
  • Train staff in observation, data collection and implementation of behavior protocols
  • Participate in staffing’s, team meetings and other clinical and staff meetings
  • Serve as primary liaison with the treatment psychiatrist
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly progress reports
  • Serve as mentor to less experienced clinicians
  • Member in good standing of the ABA
  • Serve as a resource in the community to increase understanding of the effects of acquired brain injury.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned

Communications Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual who is detail oriented and effective in maintaining the EC social media sources and website. The Communications Coordinator assists with the development and execution of communication strategies. Also, this position will perform receptionist duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Communications, or related field
  • Experience document editing & formatting
  • Experience maintaining a social media presence as well as updating web sites
  • Excellent communication skills

Rehabilitation Associate

Prep Cook

The position will involve preparing and serving meals to clients, staff and guest in our rehabilitation facility. Duties also include cleanliness of the dining hall facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to do heavy lifting & moving as you will be on your feet for 8 or more hours.
  • Must be flexible and able to work Tuesday through Friday from 10am-6pm and Saturday’s from 7am-7pm.
  • Experience in food service and in health care setting desired.
  • Ability to prepare nutritious, appropriate meals in health care setting that includes mechanical soft food preparation/special diets, special events, and meetings.
  • Special food handling license preferable.

Client Health Aide Med Passer

Eisenhower Center is seeking motivated and dynamic individuals who are qualified to follow Nursing staff protocol and administer medication to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be med-trained by Eisenhower Center Nursing staff and pass exam;
  • Valid Michigan driver’s/chauffeur’s license;
  • Commitment to the Eisenhower Center Mission Statement;
  • Good interpersonal communication skills;
  • Minimum of 4-6 months experience as a direct care staff;
  • Ability to give directives in a positive and effective manner, as well as follow directives;
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
